The Luau at FBC 2011-July 6th, 2011

2 teenagers volunteer at the popcorn and snow cone machine!
Last year over 80 adults with disabilities came to FBC to party the night away. Each guest was paired up with a trained volunteer and they could go to any of the fun rooms. We had games, crafts, food, dancing, and live games such as minute to win it. The guests arrived at 6:00 pm and stayed until 9:00. There were additional volunteers posted in all of the rooms and floating around to make sure that the night went smoothly. All of the amazing VIP guests arrived in their best Luau gear and were given a lei on their way into the church. Many of the guests said that July 8th would be a day that they would never forget. Local businesses donated services, monetary donations, as well as supplies. Debora Salon in Bainbridge even set up a salon to give the guests the treatment they deserve!
